Veronica grew up in a little country town in Victoria, and fulfilled an early aim of living in every state in Australia. In mid ’90’s she completed a degree in printmaking and a postgraduate diploma in weaving at Australian National University.

After graduating Veronica worked in community arts, in particular organisations such as Megalo Access Arts and Art Monthly Australia, and completing projects with Multicultural Arts and DADA (Disability and Disadvantage in the Arts) .

In 2002 Veronica moved to Halls Creek (a remote town of 1000 people about 3,500 kilometers from Perth) in the Kimberleys, WA to work in the Kimberley Language Resource Centre and write Art Notes for Art Monthly Australia. She then moved to Alice Springs to manage an arts disability project and later ran Jukurrpa Arts Centre (an Aboriginal women’s art centre).

After nearly 10 years helping other artists create work, she decided it was time to concentrate on her own work.

Since 2004 she has been living between Wales and Australia, completing artist in residences – Parliament House (ACT), Thirning Villa (Sydney), The Regional Print Centre (Wales), Weaving in Norway, Grindells Hut (Flinder’s Ranges SA), Cill Railaig, (Ireland) and exhibiting in Japan, China, Korea, Turkey, Wales, England, Ireland, Spain and of course Australia.

She has been learning Welsh and gained an A Level in Welsh.

In 2015 Veronica started a PhD at Aberystwyth University in the printmaking department.
